Frequently asked
Are there any monthly fees?
No. There is no subscription. RingTheTill earns its 2% platform fee only when a client pays an invoice online.
What about payment processing?
Payments run through Stripe at their standard rates (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction in the US). This is separate from our 2% service fee.
Do I pay fees on unpaid or manually recorded payments?
No. Draft and unpaid invoices have no fees, and payments you record by hand — such as cash or check — are never charged a platform or processing fee.
Can my client cover the fees?
Yes. On each invoice you can choose to pass processing and platform fees to the client. The client sees the fees in the invoice breakdown before paying, and you receive the invoice amount.
Can I see fees on my dashboard?
Yes. Analytics shows gross collected, platform and Stripe fees, and your net amount.
