RingTheTill is online invoicing and payment collection software. You create and send invoices and estimates, clients pay online through Stripe, and RingTheTill tracks statuses, outstanding balances, and reminders.
Who is it for?+
Freelancers, contractors, and service businesses of any size that bill clients — for example cleaners, electricians, plumbers, HVAC companies, mechanics, photographers, and consultants.
How much does it cost?+
There is no subscription. RingTheTill charges a 2% platform fee on invoices paid online, plus Stripe's processing fee. You can choose to pass these fees to your client. Payments you record manually, such as cash or check, have no fees.
How do online payments work?+
Connect a Stripe account during setup. Each invoice gets a secure payment link. When the client pays, the money goes to your Stripe account, the invoice is marked paid, and a receipt is emailed to the client.
Can clients pay in installments?+
Yes, if you turn on partial payments for an invoice. Clients can pay part of the balance, and both of you see what has been paid and what remains.
How do payment reminders work?+
You set up reminder sequences — when each message goes out and what it says. Reminders send automatically by email on that schedule until the invoice is paid. AI can help write the messages, and you can assign a different sequence to a client or invoice.
Is RingTheTill accounting software?+
No. It focuses on invoicing, payments, and receivables. It includes simple expense tracking and CSV export, but it does not replace a general ledger, payroll, or tax filing software.
