How RingTheTill works

Six steps
from invoice to paid.

The full invoicing and payment collection workflow, from adding a client to recording the payment.

01

Add your client

Save clients once with their contact details, currency, and default tax rate, or enter details for a one-off invoice. You can also import clients from a CSV file.

Pro tip· Set payment terms per client and the due date fills in automatically.

02

Describe the work

Add line items with quantity and rate, plus tax and discounts. If you like, paste rough notes and let AI draft a clear description you can edit before sending.

Pro tip· Optional settings cover deposits, recurring schedules, late fees, and attachments.

03

Preview & send

Preview exactly what your client will see, then email the invoice or copy its payment link. Invoices are numbered automatically.

Pro tip· If you edit an invoice after sending, the client's link stays the same.

04

Track every open

RingTheTill records when a client opens an invoice and moves it through Sent, Viewed, Partial, Paid, or Overdue, so you always know where it stands.

Pro tip· Clients can reply with questions directly from the invoice page.

05

Automate follow-ups

Reminder sequences send emails on the schedule you set while an invoice is unpaid or partly paid. AI can help write the messages; you control the timing and content.

Pro tip· Assign a different sequence to a specific client or invoice, or turn reminders off.

06

Get paid

Clients pay by card through Stripe. The invoice is marked paid, a receipt is emailed, and your dashboard updates. Cash and check payments can be recorded by hand.

Pro tip· No subscription — a 2% fee applies only to invoices paid online.
